FRIENDS OF JOSEPH CASH

At Joseph Cash we are passionate about collaboration; within school, with external agencies, with parents and carers and with the local and wider community. ‘Friends of Joseph Cash’ is the name we use to link all our partners together. We are continually looking for ways we can develop our offer to pupils and parents, to offer arrange of enrichment opportunities, to help parents develop life skills for their children and for services and agencies to challenge and support us as a school to do things even better. The PTA, Parent Partnership and School Council work tirelessly to raise money to purchase resources, provide trips and other enrichment activities for our children, they might otherwise not experience.

When launching Friends of Joseph Cash, we ran a competition within school for pupils to design our logo.

The winning design was created by Hosnah, Haseena and Yousif Sahebzadeh. The design they created and drew will be made into a logo by our own very talented Mrs Healy, who before becoming a teacher was a graphic designer!

PTA

The Parent Teacher Association is a group of parents and staff who run different events throughout the year to raise money for the school fund.

Parent Partnership

The PP is led by the Pastoral Team and offers a range of different events such as weekly Stay and Play sessions, Coffee Mornings and parenting skills groups. All sessions and activities are open to all parents/ carers.

Parent Volunteers

At JC we welcome parent volunteers, to either help lead the PP events, support in classrooms, listen to readers etc. We are always supportive of parents who are completing childcare qualifications an need placement opportunities.
